The Job Hunt Chronicals 👻
I have had many job interviews at this point… and now I just feel like starting a blog about it…👻
Some jobs wrap up like a fairy tale. Others wrap up when a consultant waltzes in and all your coworkers vanish into thin air including you!
Boo. 👻
But that’s also how new beginnings begin. Every ending, even the messy, sudden, “poof” kind —opens the door for something fresh, unexpected, and maybe even better than before.

When I think about job hunting, it can feel scary and uncertain. But I like to remind myself of a quote I saw a while back:
The job you’re meant for is looking for you too. ✨
And no — they will not ghost you! 👻
It’s true — every role needs a certain set of skills, and every person has something unique to offer. Even if it feels intimidating, everyone is capable of learning, growing, and becoming part of a team full of brilliant minds, creative problem-solvers, and collaborators who get things done. Each opportunity is a chance to connect your skills with a role that truly fits.

Today I saw a post in a UX Design thread titled “The Nicest Rejection Letter Ever,” and it made my morning. Someone shared a rejection note that said:
“Steven Spielberg got rejected. Stephen King got rejected. Steve Jobs got rejected. Madonna got rejected.”
I have no idea if it’s real — sometimes people just make stuff up to make you laugh — but if it is real… that’s even funnier. Either way, it’s comforting to know there’s a whole community of designers and creatives out there sharing the same ridiculous, chaotic, hilarious journey. It makes the job hunt feel a little less lonely.
